George Nekwaya, an MBA student at Brandeis International Business School, actively shapes the student life at Brandeis University through roles as a board member, senator, and vice president in various organizations. He founded Buffr, a fintech startup focused on financial inclusion and shared prosperity, particularly for underserved and unbanked populations. Utilizing regulatory technology and AI, Buffr aims to provide accessible financial services. George oversees the startup's business development, operations, and stakeholder partnerships. Inspired by his Namibian roots, he is driven to use technology for social and economic betterment globally.
Alongside him is Evan Goddard, the COO of Buffr, dedicated to financial inclusion with a background in finance, data analytics, and operations. Evan's expertise in various sectors enhances his ability to navigate the complexities of finance, reflecting his vision for a more equitable financial landscape. Together, George and Evan strive to create a more inclusive financial future through Buffr.
