WiroArt
Art industry/technology/platform
Emerging artists often face limited opportunities in the exclusive art industry dominated by high-end galleries. To break these barriers, WiroArt introduces "WiroArt Window," turning empty walls of high-traffic businesses like cafes and hotels into decentralized galleries. Here, artists can showcase and sell their work, while businesses earn commissions from sales.
Our user-friendly platform allows the public to effortlessly engage with artwork. By scanning QR codes next to each piece, viewers can leave comments, discover the artist, delve into artwork details, and make instant purchases. WiroArt redefines the art experience, making it accessible, interactive, and rewarding for artists and art enthusiasts alike.

Team
Born in South Korea, I later moved to Virginia for high school. My entrepreneurial journey began amid the pandemic when I observed local stores exploiting the situation by charging exorbitant prices for masks. In response, I established a supply chain, connecting a manufacturer with a laundry center to provide affordable masks. My journey evolved with the founding and sale of an e-commerce store. Subsequently, I launched WiroHeart nonprofit to support emerging artists. Unfortunately, due to insufficient donations, I had to close down the organization. Upon arriving in Boston for Northeastern University, I pivoted to create WiroArt, a startup dedicated to supporting emerging artists. Now identifying as a social entrepreneur, I find deep meaning in building something impactful from nothing. My goal is to positively influence society and make a meaningful difference.
